This 2MP USB camera module uses the Himax HM2160 sensor, an ultra-small 1/6-inch sensor. It may be small in size, but it packs a lot of punch, delivering 1080p (1920x1080) Full HD video at 60 frames per second. Another big plus is its extremely low power consumption, requiring less than 130mW even at the highest frame rate.
Thanks to its tiny sensor and fixed-focus design, the HM2160 compact camera module can be customized to fit into extremely small spaces, making it ideal for wearables, compact IoT devices, and drones. The sensor also uses UltraSense BSI pixel technology, which is highly sensitive to light, helping it capture clearer images. And it easily connects to other devices via a simple USB 2.0 interface.
